This Fantasy & Sci-Fi Box, and all our Sidekick Boxes, are designed for people on a budget get some read reads and fun, comic items. In the Fantasy & Sci-Fi Sidekick Box, you will get either a graphic novel or a collectible for the month, including recent release stories or great Funkos, Tubbz or other figures. Plus, you’ll get a brand new comic and a classic comic in every box.

We even throw in a selection of our interesting items each month including mugs, badges and pins alongside whatever else that’s seasonal or caught our attention!

But don’t worry if you fancy some more, this is a Matrix of flexibility! You can quickly upgrade this box to the Fantasy & Sci-Fi Adventurer or Hero Box at any time! Then swap back when you want to or even swap over from one to the other.

A whole universe of Fantasy & Sci-Fi characters and stories

This may come as a shock… maybe a disappointment to some Sci-fi fans, but I am an actual HUMAN writing this! Not a dangerous, comic book-loving Artificial Intelligence. I know, hard to believe these days, right? So you might find me a little biased when I talk about this area, as a massive fan of all things Sci-Fi and Fantasy!

There are some absolutely amazing characters, worlds, universes and even different realities and ages to explore here. If I was getting a box… this might be my personal pick!

Let’s go for the big ones right away, Trek and Wars! Of course, we’ll involve the legends here like Star Wars and the tales from that Galaxy far, far away. We can’t leave Star Trek either since there are so many amazing stories from that world. But, that isn’t the end of the journey.

We love lots of amazing Boom! Studios, IDW Publishing and Image Comics creations that take us to unusual lands. Imagination that created stories like the excellent Once and Future or the more dark and VHS style future of Blade Runner. Not to mention the combinations of Sci-fi and fantasy you find in Avatar or SAGA.

What you’ll find here is something a little more than just the universes you are used to! We plan to see this as an opportunity to take you to new worlds and meet new races and characters. 14+ Age rating Explained

All comics here are coming from a mixture of publishers, including some Marvel (Star Wars etc) or even Boom! Studios and Image Comics. These vary in age rating for Teens or even Teen plus. But what does that mean in the UK? Well, there are likely to be some that come along that have some darker themes, so the age is based on the fact some will be more serious the others.

We’re not going full adult here, but there’s enough to recommend younger eyes and ears are at least aware there could be rude words and adult themes!

So, since we may include some on the Teen+ in the Fantasy & Sci-Fi Comics Box, parental discretion is advised though if purchasing for someone under the age of 14. Particularly around violence, swearing and some sexual references.

But if it doesn’t, we have got you! There’s no need to suffer for the next 4, 5 or even 6 months with a story you are not getting into.

What happens if you don’t love it?

All you do is message us via the PnP social media multiverse or via email after getting issue #1 of the series and before you get your box containing issue #2. You let us know you are not loving it and we will swap you onto another series with no problem. We’ll even try and match you to the best options as we do so.

Then, next month you will get issue #1 and #2 of the series you selected instead. It’s that easy. Just make sure you let us know before your next box is ready.

Fantasy & Sci-Fi Comics budget Loot Box: Ongoing Themes and Monthly Focus

We don’t want to spoil the surprise of what’s coming in the box, but we do want you to have a few clues! This is why our boxes all start with a Theme which will run for 3 months.

Welcome to the launch theme and our launch PNP Hero and Adventurer Boxes! Take a look at the information for the theme for launch in March, April and May:

Origin Stories - Fantasy & Sci-Fi Edition

There's nothing like the start of something special. That's what's happening at Pages N' Pixels right now as our website is all shiny and new like fresh beskar armour! For you Fantasy and Sci-Fi fans, this takes a twist into different universes and should provide you with both some familiar faces, but also some new and interesting ones! Origin stories are special to comic books and special to us, this is our focus for the first 3 monthly boxes. Each month we'll be focusing on three different types of characters:

• March = Heroes - Of course, we can't call them Hero or Adventurer boxes without celebrating the good guys! Here we celebrate the protagonists, heroes and even groups of heroes fighting for what's right.
• April = Villains - So, you can't have a great hero without an equally great, if not even better, villain! Celebrate the nasty, deranged or completely insane bad guys.
• May = Anti-heroes - It's not easy to be good, and not every hero wants to be good all the time! Sometimes you need someone to be almost as bad as the villain to save the day!

Now, time to see how you can sign up and pay for your boxes. While this is super easy month-to-month, you can take advantage of subscribing every 3 or 6 months and saving on each box as a result…

Pay Upfront and Save or Pay Monthly

We want to make things as easy as possible, but for us it's super helpful if you want to pay for more boxes up-front since we can order things in larger quantities sooner!

This means we pass the savings back to you! You can get a saving of (slightly more than...) a free box a year.

• Pay every 6 months - Get the saving equivalent to one free box a year (it's actually a bit more than that!) by paying for 6 boxes upfront.
• Pay every 3 months - Choose this one and save (over) half a box in costs per year by paying 3 boxes upfront.
• Month-to-month payments - Want to take it one box at a time? Go for this option and keep it simple, you can always change this anytime and pay for more in one go later.

How will I be charged and when will my box arrive?

To make matters easier all around, we will take your payment on the 1st of the month on your payment month, how often will depend on your frequency selected on the page.

Orders will be looked at by PNP Legends and we'll organise your content throughout the month from the best options we can get into stock!

Boxes will be prepared between the 21st and 24th of the month, dispatched to arrive a few working days later.

Why? Firstly, this was best for general payday management based on feedback from our survey. It also allows us just over half a month for new people to sign up and enjoy the content without waiting even longer since they will all go out at the same time.

Being a small, independent comic book shop it also helps us organise everything for you and give you that personal touch! If you want to swap to a different comic series you can request a swap. And if we want to offer you some additional choices you can get them.

You can even swap your box to another option and pay the difference!
